The Ghana Free Zones Board has warned encroachers on the Tema Community 21 land to vacate before the 21st of February, 2014.
Acting Deputy Executive Secretary of the board, Obuobia Darko Opoku, at a media briefing in Accra Thursday, explained that the 152 acre land was earmarked for residential and its related purposes by government in the year 1997.
According to Obuobia Darko Opoku, squatters have taken over the land thus the need to eject them after several attempts to deter them failed.
The Free Zones Board is pleading with encroachers to heed to the warning or risk being ejected forcefully.
The Tema Community 21 lands were given to the board by the Rawlings-led government to undertake developmental projects.
