Daily Guide confirms Bawumiah Exits AFDB, Anthony Karbo denies; says he takes leave of absence
A report by the Daily Guide Newspaper in December 2012 indicates that the running mate for the main opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the 2012 general election, Dr Mahamudu Bawumiah “has quit his job with the African Development bank (AfDB) as its country manager for Zimbabwe” to contest in the 2012 general election but former NPP National Youth Organiser, Anthony Karbo, hotly denies and says “he took a leave of absence from Zimbabwe”.

EX NPP Youth Organizer INSISTS: Bawumiah didn’t resign from AFDB, he took a leave of absence
A former National Youth Organiser of the main opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP), Mr Anthony Abayifaa Karbo, has vehemently insisted that the star-witness in the ongoing election petition case, Dr Mahamudu Bawumiah, never resigned from the African Development Bank (AFDB) in 2012 but took a long leave to contest the 2012 general elections.
