Education Minister, Ambassador Lee Ocran has rubbished the statements and campaign messages by the NPP in their quest to make the SHS free. Lee Ocran said “should he have his way everything should be free in the world but someone has to pay for it”.
Ambassador Lee Ocran said what the NDC government is doing is to equip all the 28 technical schools in each region per the loan of 117 million Ghana cedis given by the Agriculture Development Bank. He said this will enable students who are unable to make it to the secondary schools to have technical training by learning a skill which will go a long way to help them.
Ambassador Lee Ocran advised the NPP to take pen and paper to calculate to see where they want to take Ghana. This was in an exclusive interview with radio Gold’s Gold power drive.
