I am proud of the political tradition of the NDC-Twum Boafo

Many have lauded the nations address delivered by the Ghana, President of the Republic of Ghana John Dramani Mahama for exhibiting the tenet of unity in his speech on Wednesday.

Chief Executive Officer of the Ghana Free Zones Board, Kojo Twum Boafo said the choice of President Mahama by the late President to partner him was a selfless one which has done a lot of good to the nation.

Speaking on Radio Gold’s current affairs programe Alhaji and Alhaji on Saturday, Mr. Twum Boafo said “I am proud of the political tradition of the party I belong to. On Wednesday evening, the whole nation saw what we have been preaching about President Mills’ legacies. President Mills selflessly selected a man he knows will be able to take us to the promise land”.

The Chief Executive officer of the Free Zones Board also questioned the public to be circumspect in who to vote for in the December elections.

He said “for those who may be thinking about voting for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), in the unlikely event, if President Nana Addo is unable to continue his term of office, do you think President Bawumia will be able to continue”?

“President Mahama has been one of the few people I know who get things done. The shepherd is to direct the sheep from non-poisonous grass. As Communication Minister, he was able to reduce mobile charges of the country and aided the liberalization of the airwaves”, he said.

He also stated the National Democratic Congress (NDC) will be decent in its politicking because Ghanaians are tired of the indecent politics indicating that “let us make the effort to clean up the politics of the country for the younger generation”.
