All is about set for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) to organize its primaries in newly created constituencies in the Greater Accra Region.
Aspirants in these newly created constituencies have also inched up their campaign in order to convince and woo delegates to vote for them.
One of such aspirants is Radio Gold’s Obuobia Darko Opoku who is set to win the Gbawe Weija constituency.
According to her, she is contesting the seat in order to spear head the developmental agenda of the constituency which for some time has been deprived of the needed developmental projects.
She said “I want to put the constituency in the front banner on the national development agenda in order to ensure that the people can benefit from the government’s better Ghana agenda. To do this you need someone who can enter places and bring development to the area”.
Obuobia Darko Opoku further indicated that her campaign message is based on four thematic areas which include women empowerment, youth development, infrastructure and education for all.
