Majority leader in Parliament Cletus Avoka has officially announced to Members of Parliament on the funeral arrangement for the late president Mills.
The mortal remains of late President John Evans Mills will be laid in State at the Banquet hall on the 8th of August for Members of Parliament to pay their last respect to him.
On Thursday 9th of August, the public will be allowed to pay tribute to the late president while the Speaker of parliament Joyce Banford Addo will pay a tribute on behalf of members of the house.
The final funeral service will be held at the Independence Square in Accra on 10th of August which will be followed by the burial.
Meanwhile Minority leader Osei Kyei Mensah Bonsu proposed that Vice President Nominee Paa Kwesi Amissah- Arthur should be sworn in on Monday evening if he successfully goes through the vetting process and given orientations before the funeral.
