The Inter Party Youth Committee (IPYC), a political organization involving youth wings of the four main political parties with representation in parliament, has cautioned senior politicians to desist from the act of using the youth to foment trouble in electoral activities.
According to the chairman of IPYC, Ludwig Hlodze, hate speeches have the potential to ruin the peace and harmony Ghana is enjoying and politicians must preach peace during their rallies. The chairman of IPYC, Ludwig Hlodze hinted that IPYC, in collaboration with Friedrich Ebert Stiftung will pay courtesy calls on all the presidential candidates and also embark on a nationwide tour to spread the message of peace across.
For her part the Resident Director of Friedrich Ebert Stiftung, Mrs. Daniela Kuzu, bemoaned the increasing rate of insults gradually creeping into the country’s body politics.
