NDC parliamentary candidate organizes vacation classes for over 1000 JHS pupils in her area

National Democratic Congress parliamentary candidate for the Ledzokuku constituency Benita Sena Okiti Dua has organized free vacation classes for primary six and Junior High School pupils in her area.

She says some of the Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) results in the constituency have not been pleasant over the years thus the need to inject more resources into education in her constituency for better results.

She said that “studying the report of how the JHS pupils perform in the constituency, I thought it wise that if I’m to tackle education it should be from the root. Most of the time you see JHS leavers loitering around because they couldn’t pass their exams”.

She also said the poor performance is due to the inability of parents to afford extra classes for their wards.

Benita Sena Okiti Dua is therefore imploring all parents in the Ledzokuku constituency to encourage their wards to take part in the free vacation classes.

She also advised the pupils within the constituency to take full advantage of the vacation classes which she hopes to sustain.
