The Ghana Bar Association for which the late president was a member, on Thursday took their turn to file past the late president of the Republic of Ghana, Prof. John Evans Fiifi Atta Mills to pay their last respect.
The mortal remains of the late President John Evans Atta Mills were laid in state on Wednesday for the public to pay their last respect to him.
The Ghana Bar Association clouded in their official attire, filed past the body of the late president by assembling beside the corpse and saying a word of prayer for their departed college to commit his soul into the hands of the almighty God.
After the prayer, they bowed down their heads to show respect for the remains of their college who believed in the democratic dispensation and allowing the law to take its course.
Members of the Ghana Bar Association finally filed past the late president’s body and left the Banquet Hall at the State House in Accra.
The Old Students of Achimota School clouded in their school cloth also filed past the late president who was once their class mate to pay their last respect to him.
