As part the ongoing nationwide activities in memory of late president Mills, the Ledzokuku Constituency of the National Democratic Congress has also outlined some programs in his honour.
NDC parliamentary candidate for the Ledzokuku constituency Benita Sena Okity Duah, told Gold News that the constituency will a memorial service near the Teshie Presbyterian Senior High School on Friday August 3 to honour the late president.
She indicated that a book of condolence has been opened for dignitaries and members in and outside the constituency to sign.
The Parliamentary candidate further added that “our president was part of us and his demise is difficult to accept. The solemn service is to show love for the late president because he has done a lot for the people of Teshie”.
Benita Sena Okity Duah further implored all persons within the constituency to take part in the activities outlined in honour of the late President Mills since he was a constituent noting that “everybody who has the president in heart is invited to mourn with us”.
She also disclosed that the constituency will embark on a peace walk on the principal streets of Teshie on Saturday to appreciate the peaceful legacy of the late President Mills.
